Aaron Green caught a tipped pass in the back of the end zone with 23 seconds left and No. 3 TCU outlasted Texas Tech 55-52 on Saturday in the Big 12 opener for both teams. On fourth-and-goal from the 4, Trevone Boykin's pass was high to Josh Doctson, but he got a hand on it and Green grabbed the ball as he fell out of the end zone. Boykin threw four touchdown passes and finished with a career-high 509 yards for TCU (4-0, 1-0).
