Hurricanes end Capitals' winning streak at 9 (Yahoo Sports)

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Eric Staal broke a tie 51 seconds into the third period and the Carolina Hurricanes went on to beat the Washington Capitals 4-2 on Thursday night.
